Filtering file type then copying to target

I have filtered by files for only *.asp and only orphons. However, when highlighting the source folder (where there are 3 files displayed in blue) and selecting copy, the copy dialog box tells me there are 4 files to copy (but I only see 3)???

Are you selecting the folder itself? It executes a copy of the folder, copying all of the contents in the folder including files that are filtered out of the display. If you just select the files within the folder that won't happen. An easy way to handle it is to select all files instead of select all.

Yes I was selecting the folder first as I thought it would only copy the files that were visible.
I think it would be useful to be able to do what I was trying to do though.
