Customised Folder Comparison Report

Is there a way to customise the html report that is produced?
I want to be able to change the >> to something like "delete" and the << to "<< Copy"

Does it build this html page from a template that I am able to modify?

You can use a custom style sheet for HTML reports, but I don't think that will allow you to change words.

To set a custom style sheet, select HTML report format, then select "Use custom stylesheet (external)" in the Difference Highlighting: dropdown menu.

The external style sheet is only a small portion of what I need.

Essentially I need to be able to fully customise what the layout of the report looks like including the words that appear.

Can BC be changed to use a html template where you are able to modify the look and feel?

The style sheet is the only option for changing the output of the HTML report.

If you need more control than that you can generate an XML report from BC and generate HTML from that using Perl, PHP, or whatever your favorite scripting language is.

I will add customizable templates for the HTML reports to the wish list.
