  • can "copy to" only copy a difference in a line?

    the editor func. seems weak that only can copy one line to other window.

    how can i copy a difference in a line to other window. for example:
    in panel1: this are a dog \cite{ddd}
    in panel2: this is a dog [3]. ...
    after comparing, I want only replace text "is" in panel2 with "are" in panel1.

    how can I do it without editing by hand.
    thanks.

    Re: can \"copy to\" only copy a difference in a line

    Right now the Copy To Other Side command will only copy the entire line. There isn't a command to copy part of a line across.

    This is something we'll consider adding to a future release of BC.
