blank lines getting lost

Sometimes when I copy across very large blocks of text, blank lines don't copy across, especially (but not exclusively) in sections of repeated blank lines. I end up having to go through and do them individually.

This is 2.3.1. Am I outdated?

Oh wait, I think I see how this happens. It's when blank lines get "matched" with gaps... I guess it's thinking they don't need to be copied.
