  • BC 2.4

I wonder what happened to BC 2.4. If I remember correctly, it was to be released before holidays.

    Thanks

    Re: BC 2.4

    Hi Sakis,

Well, it's my fault! I've been pushing the team on V3 design lately and have neglected getting 2.4 out.

I'm going to try to release the final 2.4 beta later today. The translators should be finished with their work in a couple of weeks, so barring any unforseen problems the final 2.4 release will be around mid-January.

We have one more beta planned before the official 2.4 release. The final 2.4 beta version should be out sometime on Friday.

If I can vote and if it is not too difficult to implement, I would like to be able to press ctrl+down arrow or ctrl+up arrow and go to next file.

            Thank You

ctrl+down arrow or ctrl+up arrow to go to next file in the Folder Viewer is on our wishlist for a future version of Beyond Compare.

                Re: BC 2.4

Since there is not, per following link:Display Filter for "Side {X} only"
a "one side only" display type filter, I would second the request for the <Ctrl> + <Up/Down arrow key> to move to the next file (at least as a work-around for me). As is, I have to press the down arrow key way too much to get to the next file on the side of the Folder Viewer that's pointing to my "source" folder. Yes, I could use the mouse to move the scroll bar, but I do not like the wasted time moving back and forth between mouse and keyboard.

Thanks for the suggestion. In the current version, in addition to the arrow keys to move up and down, you can also use the Page Up and Page Down Keys to move more rapidly.
