FTP Windows To Unix Linefeed Problem

It appears that when I am copying files between my local PC folder and a Unix FTP site, an extra linefeed gets added to each line of the file when they get copied back. Is there an FTP setting somewhere to control this behavior?

By default BC will use ASCII mode transfers for text files to convert line endings when transferring.

To turn this off, select Tools|Options. Go to the FTP section. Select Binary for the Transfer Type.
