  • How to make BC ignore CVS folders?

    Hello,

I am often using BC to compare file contents in two different CVS branches I have downloaded to my local machine. This means that there is more or less the same folder structure, but with partially different files. CVS folders (folders that CVS uses to store information about files next to the CVS folder) are always present.

I was just wondering if it is possible to tell BC that it should skip the CVS folders (and their contents)? Comparing them is really not relevant (in this case).

You could add a filter to exclude all CVS subdirectories ... in the "Filters" edit box, simply add "-/CVS/;" (without the quotes).
