Date filtering question

I have a need to filter files by date, which I see BC2 has already (evaluation version so far). My question is: which "date" is it filtering by (original creation, modified, accessed)?

Here's my scenario: I want to be able to find any and all files that have been written to a network drive for more than "x" days. There original creation date is irrelevant, and thier last accessed date is irrelevant, what I want to know is if it's been parked on the drive for more than "x" number of days. Possible?

Beyond Compare uses the modified date.

The only timestamps that Beyond Compare works with are the modified timestamp. This is for filtering, timestamp comparison, and the touch command to set or copy timestamps.
