  • Controlling Size & Placement of Windows

Is there a way to 'set' the size and location of the folder comparison & file comparison windows? I use a multiple monitor setup, and BC always comes up spanning the two monitors -- what I'd like to do is have it only present on a single monitor.

I looked at the 'FormPos' option in the registry settings under HKCU, but changing or removing these didn't seem to help.

Am I missing something, or is this just not possible?

    Many thanks

I don't think there is a way to set this inside of BC.

All of our development systems are dual monitor, so we do plan to make BC behave better with multi-monitor setups in the future.

You might be able to correct this with your multi-monitor software.

I have an Nvidia card in my system. Using Nvidia's software, you can set this behavior by launching the nView Desktop Manager. In the desktop manager go to the Windows tab, and uncheck Enable window spanning across multiple displays. You may have to check it and uncheck it for the setting to be picked up.

Other video card manufacturers may have a similar setting.
