Script progress window

In the BC Script progress window there is the option to close when finished. I have checked to have the window close and it works fine. But now on a new scipt I want to do not want the window to close. The script I have generates an error. When I close the error box the progress window also closes and thus I have no opportunity to uncheck the close option. Is there some way to change this behavior outside of the progress window.

To change this option, open BC and go to the General section of Tools|Options. Then uncheck the "Close when finished" box.
