How to create a folder ?

How can I create a folder on ftp.
The only possibility I found was to compare ftp with my computer where there is a folder with this name.
But this not a good solution.
I want create 300 folders on ftp and put the same files in each folder

BC has a command to create new folders interactively, but there isn't a create new folder command for scripts.

The only way to make a new folder through a script is to copy a folder with that name as you described.

A create new folder command for scripts is on our wish list to include in a future release.
