  • Edit Grammar item changes to "New Element"

As of build 8845, BC3 won't remember the "Element Name" saved with a Grammar item (rule). Ex, item saved as "string", when edited, the "Element Name" is changed to "New Element #" where # is an increment of the last "New Element #" that was added.
I'm now up to "New Element 4"

    screenshot if that helps.

    Hi Maurice,

Thanks for the bug report. This was broken in 3.0.3 and will be fixed in 3.0.5. For now, just pick the appropriate "Element name" from the list before clicking "OK".

Also you can't delete those new element names once they have been created.

        Hi Brian,

To get rid of an element, make sure it's not used in any grammar and it's not custom colored and restart BC3.

Furthermore, it doesn't seem to remember the "This element is case sensitive" setting so you never know if it's set or not.

"This element is case sensitive" should work okay as long as you fix the "Element name". As I mentioned, we'll have that fixed in 3.0.5.
