  • Binary File Compare

    Hello,

I've use BC 2.x.x at home and like the way it works. Binary compare is straight forward. At work we have 3.x.x and it seems a bit awkward
when I want to see a binary comparison. Do any of the newer updates
    improve this?

What do you perceive as awkward in BC3?

A binary scan in the Folder Compare scans aligned files. This can be set to run automatically or manually based on selection.

You can select a pair of files and run a Quick Compare to see if the files are binary or rules-based different.

You can change a startup option so the Shell Extension (My Computer/Windows Explorer) right-click menu also pops-up the Quick Compare dialog.

Which means are you using, and what aspects do you find difficult to use?
