Treating archive files with different extensions as ZIP archives

I am looking at a file format that is essential just a ZIP archive containing XML files with another extension.
Can I set up BC to recognize and treat files with certain file extensions as ZIP archives?

Yes, in BC3, this is in the Tools menu -> Options dialog, Folder Views node, Archive Associations list, and edit the Zip entry (with a semicolon ; delimited list) to add your file mask.

In BC4, this is controlled in the Tools menu -> Options dialog, Archive Types tab, which has the full list.
