Thanks for reporting the problem Chris.

This can happen in recent releases (3.1.11 and 3.2.3) if one of the hidden items is an empty folder. I'll add this to our list to be fixed.

Edit: It looks like this is already on our bug list, it just hasn't been fixed yet.

Ah - definitely many were. Thankfully the move operation itself included them fine.
