3-way folder compare

I've been evaluating several compare/merge utilities and I like Beyond Compare's GUI and options the best by far. Just wondering if there is a way or are there plans to support a 3-way folder compare? I maintain an offsite backup via FTP of a small company's quality system and design files. We do not use any version control software. I am looking for the ability to compare 2 folder sets against a third common ancestor so I can tell if anyone changes the same file on the local and remote sides. So far, I haven't been able to get BC3 to do this. Hopefully I'm just missing something? Araxis Merge Pro has the ability, but I don't like their GUI and lack of options, not to mention the price.

3-way folder compare was originally on the planned BC3 feature list, but did not make the 3.0 release due to time constraints. As I understand it, it will be added in a future 3.x release.
