9357 Bug: Browse for Folder commands missing from Customize (sic) Commands

The Browse for Folder - Left Side and Browse for Folder - Right Side commands are missing from Customize (sic) Commands.

Also I think it rather odd though perhaps not a bug that they are missing from the menus esp. as e.g. Up One Level is included (under Session).

"Customize" is the correct spelling in the U.S. Software companies in the U.K. can spell it "Customise" in their own software if they want.

      Any plans to fix this?

I think the assumption is if you're using the keyboard you can tab to the path edit, then type the path in. Is entering the path directly into the path edit not a good option for you when using the keyboard? The path edit will display auto complete entries that you can select using the arrow keys.

You can, but you might resonably want to browse instead. Browsing is not just for mouse users - the Browse dialog is fully keyboard operable. But I can find no way of opening the Browse dialog using the keyboard. Is there one?

It is a good option. But no substitute for Browse.

When focused in a path edit, you can press [ALT+B] to open the associated browse dialog. This will work for any path edit.

              Thanks.

In general, how is the user expected to discover such keyboard commands?
