Changing file filter requires termination of background operations
I find this behaviour most unwelcome, and cannot see why it should be necessary.

Whilst it persists, what's the quickest way to open a copy of the tab, identical except having no background operations?

Thanks, Chris. This should be fixed in the next release. Let us know if you still have trouble after that.

Thanks. Same for Swap Side and perhaps some other commands.

Some of the other commands may still require the background thread to be terminated. Others may not be fixed by next release because they require a larger amount of development and need to be scheduled.

Thanks for your feedback so far.
