Are compressed transfers possible?

You can use the "Compress transfers (MODE Z)" option with FTPS, which is an encrypted form of FTP. We don't support compression using other protocols.

Is there any way to achieve compressed transfers (ie compression/de-compression on-the-fly) with BC3 Pro, other than with an FTP session? I regularly synchronise Gbs of data that would compress well, but would like to avoid running processes at the receiving end to decompress outside of BC3. We can't run an FTP server for security reasons.
