I don't find it intuitive to go looking in the Tools -> Options... menu when trying to figure out how to permanently add a new filter to my filter presets. Instinctly I end up in the Name Filters tab under Session Settings. It would be nice if there were a "Save as preset" button or simply a "Filter presets..." button that took the user to the options menu where filter presets can be managed.
The last few times I've wanted to edit my presets, I've had to do a search of the Scooter forums to figure out where to go. You would think that I would have learned by now... if it seems so unintuitive to an advanced user like me, then I dare say that most users won't understand their ability to create new presets on the fly for custom file filters that they intend to use often.
