  • 11626 Help "Only one copy will run at a time" inaccuracy

    This

    Command Line Reference

    BCompare.exe
This is the main application. Only one copy will run at a time, regardless of how many windows you have open. If you launch a second copy it will tell the existing copy to start a comparison and exit immediately.
I find to be inaccurate where the second copy is from a portable install - two copies do run.

If you launch multiple times from the same BCompare.exe, then you should only see one BCompare.exe process running in the background. The Command Line reference helps deals specifically when called from the Command Line, and details if you receive control of the prompt after executing the application.

Well sure, but that's not what the Help is saying.
