I would like to be able to compare two folders in a more flexible way.
It is possible that this feature is already available, with scripting, or snapshot, so any hint will be appreciated.
For example, I want to restore files on a new directory to check that the backup succeeded. Then, I want to compare the new directory with the original one. But, people have worked on their documents, meantime.
So, I filter files to hide files modified today.
But, B.C.3 keeps showing them, because on the other side it finds files that are older.
So, for example, I would like to be able to specify date selection on one side only. If the file on the right side is newer, do not show the line, even if the file on the left side is older.
Or, I would like to hide newer files, but only if they are .pst files, for example.
So, I might use many rules, to be applied in sequence.
Is there something already available?
Otherwise, please add this to the wish list.
Thank You very much
