  • To exclude (sh) in "Folder Comparison"

In version 3.11.12204, when "Folder Compare" is performed between two logical drives, the following folders/files are compared as well:

    RECYCLER (sh)
    System Volume Information (sh)

How to configure the BC3 so that by default both files (or "sh" files) are excluded when "Folder Compare" is applied?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

You can apply Filters to your folder comparison by going to the Session menu -> Session Settings dialog. You can apply a Name filter to exclude specific folders, or an Other filter on specific DOS attributes (exclude System and Hidden for s and h).

Session Settings are session specific. So you can save them either to a specific saved session (bookmark-like object), or you can save them as the Session Defaults by going to the Home screen (first boot up screen), select the green folder "Edit session defaults" in the saved session list, select the Folder Compare, and update the defaults there.

How does that work for you?
