Hello,

It is likely there is a 3rd application that is causing a conflict. Are there any major differences/different applications between your VM and core system?

Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling ExpanDrive?

Also, if you are interested, BC3 Pro edition has built in SFTP support. If you are already registered for Std edition, you can revert to trial mode by following this guide:

i tested it with windows 7 ultimate (64 bit) and bc 3.1.11 (latest release) installed in a virtual machine, too - work
but my core system is windws 7 professional (64 bit) - not work

so the server is definitely ok, but which conflict could be ?

Hello,

I tested with Windows 7 64bit (US) in a vm with the latest version (trial) from their website.
http://www.expandrive.com/windows
I tested with BC2.5.3 and BC3.1.11 (latest releases).

The install required a reboot.
The folder was accessible from the Browse dialog or manually typing in the letter.

Perhaps there is a conflict with another piece of software running as well. Or perhaps something specific with the server? Are you able to define a new letter to a different sftp or ftp site to test with? Do you have another machine you can install ExpanDrive on to test the connection to the original sftp server?

Yes (windows explorer), no (Beyond compare)

I didnt see the mounted drive in Beyond Compare (even when entering drive "G" into entry field) - so I cant copy any files from ExpanDrive.
It works with sftpDrive and Win XP, but not (new version) ExpanDrive and Windows 7.

I installed the trial of ExpanDrive and tested it in Windows 7 against our sftp server. I was able to copy files in both directions.

Are you able to perform the same copy using Windows explorer instead of Beyond Compare?
Are you able to see the files? Is the only part of the process that fails for you is the copy itself? Which direction are you copying?

I do not know why, but ...
I can't sync with ExpanDrive (e.g., drive "G"), using Beyond Compare.
Windows Explorer shows me drive 'G', but Beyond compare always says: "Ordner nicht verfügbar" (Directory is not avaliable).

But, why?
