Is there any way to have certain differences completely excluded from the folder diff? I don't want to exclude all minor differences.

Hello,
Not currently. The purpose of defining something as an Unimportant Difference is to be able to toggle hide it from view. If you do not want some of these differences to be hidden, wouldn't they be Important Differences? You could then mark these grammar items as Important by default in the Home Screen's Edit session defaults section.
If not, could you go into more detail on your files and how you are using Important, Unimportant, and how you would like to use a third level (Ignored)? We have a wishlist item similar to this request and we always appreciate collecting sample scenarios.Aaron P Scooter Software -
We have a LOT of source code.
I merge important stuff almost daily, I switch on unimportant about once a week to clean up the code layout etc. But in all cases I don't want to have to visit files that simply have a different SVN header - it would literally remove about 75% of the quick checks I have to make and would make me a very happy chap.
But I do have to say that all-in-all, BC is one of the top 5 pieces of software I have ever used, and certainly significantly better than the other diffing programs we've tried. This (and the diff count in folder compare) would make it perfectoComment

Thanks for the suggestion. I've added it to our Customer Wishlist.
In the meantime, the way to work around this would be to save two sessions: one session with everything unimportant as you normally use it, and a second session for clean-up work where only the SVN-Header is unimportant. You can define this by toggling the importance of the Header in the Importance tab of the session.Aaron P Scooter SoftwareComment
