Set initial directories

Is there a way to make it so that if you open the program and click on Folder Compare, both sides open in certain directories?

I posted this question yesterday but it never showed up that I can see. My apologies if it turns out to be a duplicate.

That is what sessions are for. Open a Folder Compare, set the left and right folders, then click:

Session -> Save Session As...

Enter a meaningful name for the session. Whenever you want a folder session to open to those folders, simply double-click on the saved session instead of clicking on "Folder Compare".

I saw that it could be done with sessions but thought there might be a more user-friendly way. Thanks for the answer.
