Controlling multiple clients in BC v3

When using BC 3, I'm getting a message from my ftp server:

9/10/2009 4:39:50 PM Unable to load ftp://xxx.xxx/xx/xxx: Sorry, the maximum number of clients (8) for this user are already connected.

How do I control this? My simultaneous connections is already set to 1.

Hello,

Make sure you are editing the correct FTP Profile in the Tools menu -> FTP Profiles dialog. Double check both it and <default>. Then restart BC3 to make sure changes are accepted (not normally required; but a useful troubleshooting step).

Also, try connecting with another client, such as Filezilla. If BC3 is set to one connection, then that is all we are using. It is possible there are other users on the FTP using that account as well, or that previous connections have not timed out yet.
