    Thanks for the feedback. I'll add these ideas to our Customer Wishlist.

    In the meantime, if you use the scroll bar to scroll, the preview Thumbnail will also move. This way, you can scroll the view around the difference area, while not moving the cursor until you are ready to shift+click into the main text area to capture a section of text.

    Clicking on the thumbnail view column to scroll the document should not move the cursor.

    Alternately, if it really must move the cursor, at least support the shift modifier for selecting a block of lines when this move occurs.

    The issue is that i often need to select a large block of lines with unimportant (blue) differences. I put the cursor at the top of the block and then scroll to the bottom by clicking on the thumbnail view column, intending to then shift + click at the bottom. But I find my cursor has followed me with the scroll!
