The new site layout seems to have broken access to the old Wordpress topics, There is a bug still hanging around, and I wanted to refer to my previous wordpress post.

The link works for me. What error are you getting?

No error, Tim. It opens a new IE window at the home page:

Thanks, it's fixed now. I wasn't seeing the problem because I still had the old login cookie.

What link? I don't see any link, and I wanted to bookmark it before it had gone.

Can you at least give us the URL?

                Tim,

Any reason why it can't be added as an item on the Forum Jump dropdown under Site Areas?

While you're at it, could you add a "Today's Posts" to the main menu bar next to "New Posts" when a user is logged in? My sessions keep timing out (annoying) and when I come back, the new posts I have not yet visited are no longer in the new posts list!

Also, serveral times today I've gone to submit a post and get the following error:

The following errors occurred when this message was submitted
Your session timed out while you were composing this post and you were logged out. You must log in again to continue.

The problem is that there is no place to log in. The Page still has my user name at the top as if I am logged in. This is really annoying. I have to copy my post, back out to log in, then start the post over again. I don't remember this happening a couple days ago. Did timeout values change recently? Or am I just taking longer to enter my posts?

                  Michael,

As long as you check "Remember Me?" when you login, it should preserve your user information. This works well for me with Firefox 2 & 3, and IE 7.

I think VBulletin uses a cookie to store your login information. If you have cookies disabled in your browser it might prevent your login from being saved.

If something is wrong with the stored cookie, it might also help to clear the cookies from your web browser and login again.

Or better yet, why not put a link to the old WordPress forum under the Quick Links drop down?

That's a good idea. I'll look into it.

"Old WordPress articles" is now on the Quick Links menu, and I've sqeezed "Today's Posts" onto the navbar.

I was expecting a link in the forum header area, as there was before. Why has it disappeared?

On Michael's suggestion, I put the link in the Quick Links dropdown. It wasn't in the header area before -- it was just a sticky thread.

It was in the header before the "40s nostalgia" look.
