Explorer Context Menu Cleanup

I inherited a laptop with a broken installation of Beyond Compare. After installing BC3, I have the following context menu:



The Compare to and Select Left Side to Compare don't function. If I use the Select Left Folder to Compare to select a folder, I'll get a second Compare to... selection.

How can I clean up the registry to remove the broken menu items? Uninstalling and Reinstalling BC3 doesn't help.

Hello,

Since both BC2 and BC3 can be installed at the same time, it appears you accidentally have BC2 context menus also installed. Do you still have BC2 installed? If so, launch it and then go to the Options dialog and disable the Explorer Context Menu option. This would remove them from the list and only leave the BC3 items. Or you could uninstall BC2, then restart. How does this work for you?
