Comparing Spanish Documents- False differences

When Text comparing 2 Spanish PDF documents, the report contains differences around the starting characters of sentences. On the report the old document displays the correct text, but the new document lists a ? for the starting character. The true character is then listed after the text with ?? marks. Any idea what could be causing these to be noted as a difference?

Are you using the latest version of BC3.3.13 with your files?

If you install BC4's trial, does our newer version handle the conversion of these files?
