This is a known issue that occurs if you don't have the right version of MSXML installed. I thought that only affected WinNT 4, so it was a low priority, but it shouldn't be difficult to fix.

We don't test with VirtualBox ourselves, but we can take a look at the memory leak log if you run the full debug build. It will log memory leaks to a text file in the folder where Cirrus is installed.

[Build 442, CirrusDebugSetup_071212.exe, Win2K SP4 running as virtual machine using VirtualBox 1.5.4 on MEPIS 7.0]

When exiting Cirrus using either the menu or the close box, I get a popup alert (screenshot attached) about a memory leak.

The error doesn't occur running on my native Win2K SP4 installation.

Since this is an odd platform configuration, I don't know if you want to pursue this. If you do, I could install the full debug build and get more info.
