  • Update bugs

One one machine, the update ran so fast that I thought it must have failed, but when I launched Cirrus, it comes up as build 446.

On another box, the following window opened and never closed.

I opened task manager and looked at the associated process:

There is no CPU utilization associated with the task.

Let me know if you have another box to try it on, and whether or not it still fails. (We've fixed some links on this end.)

My reported incident aligns with Craig's explanation, so I'm not worried about it.
When I retried the update, it worked fine.

        hey Tim!
Long time no speak. I do not know if this is a bug or not. As you advised I am running my Cirrus on a weekly restart schedule. As you advised I changed the update check frequency to 1 day. I am on 447 now ( loaded automatically ). Today I noticed you rolled out build 448. I still did not get the update notification, though when forced it showed that the update is available. Should I wait till tomorrow?
        Thanks!

Since you forced it to check, you might as well grab the update now.

          Thanks,
