Suggestion - If a user opens help and manually checks for an update but doesn't download it, can the "New version available!" link be activated in the upper right corner right away instead of waiting for the next auto update check on the next day?

Hmm. I thought it already did that. Whenever it checks our site for an update, it stores the latest build number in the State.xml file. The "New version available!" link appears whenever that stored build number is greater than the running version.Tim T Scooter Software

I see you noticed my "release news" test. Yes, if it looks like we'll be publishing news items regularly, I'll consider an auto-check option. Historically, the only "news" we get around to publishing is new releases, so it may be a moot point.Tim T Scooter Software

Not sure if this is a bug, but thought I should report this anyway. I saw the website updaed with the version 450. I could not wait till the autoupdate runs, so I forced the manual check. It showed version 451. Which one is correct?

Got another one while updating;
F:\....\CirrusShellEx.dll
An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is denied.

I guess I was too quick with the update. You changed the web site 2 minutes agotLast edited by mzel; 07-Apr-2008, 02:23 PM.
