It sounds like John wants an option for windows size and placement to be updated in a workspace without altering the content of the workspace. Sounds like a reasonable request to me. -
Correct, I don't have sessions saved on exit, since I don't want them altered and don't want to have to remember if I made changes to them or not.Leave a comment:

Workspaces save everything, tabs, positions, z-order. If you have multiple windows open (possibly with multiple tabs), the workspace saves the state for all of them so when you reload it looks just like it did previously. I take it you have it set up to load a particular session or group of sessions on startup, but you don't have it saving them when you exit?Leave a comment:

Do you start up with a Workspace defined? That seems to be the problem -- the BC3 window stays put if I don't load a Workspace on startup. I think a Workspace should save the tabs, not the screen position.Leave a comment:

If you have any multi-monitor enhancement software you should try disabling it. It's might be related to the order you have your monitors set up, or the fact that there is 3 of them, but we're all running dual monitors here and it always opens in the same position it was closed at.Leave a comment:

Multiple display screen awareness
Suggestion: have BC3 start up on the last screen it was positioned on when using multiple displays.
I have 3 display screens (driven by 2 video cards), conigured (according to Display Properties) from left to right as: ID#1 (vid card 1), ID#3 (vid card 1), ID#2 (vid card 2).
Right now, BC3 always starts on Screen ID#2 (vid card 2), no matter which screen it was on when last closed.Tags: None
