  • BC3 -- A better Windows Explorer

I'm addicted to BC3. It makes me so productive, and "Tools/Options/Open With" is part of the reason.

Here are my favorite tools, setup as Short-Cut keys on Beyond Compare.

All are setup with Working Folder=<base folder>, [x] Accepts Files

    Ctrl-K Kedit "C:\Program Files\KEDITW\KEDITW32.EXE"
    Ctrl-P PDF "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe"
    Ctrl-Z winzip "C:\Program Files\WinZip\WINZIP32.EXE"
    Ctrl-B browse "C:\Program Files\WinBatch\System\browser.exe"
    Ctrl-V vi "C:\Program Files\Vim\vim71\gvim.exe"
    Ctrl-A AutoIt "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\AutoIt3.exe"
    Ctrl-H HTML "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
    Ctrl-7 7-Zip "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" e [x] Refresh when finished

So, I often bring up BC3 instead of Windows Explorer, because I can
edit/browse any file extension, or extract any archive using the hotkeys.

And did I mention it's about 100 times faster than the Explorer mechanisms. Awesome! Go-BC3
