We don't provide any way to do that. Programmatically you might be able to fake it using WM_DROPFILES, but that's about it.
Incidentally, I've been wondering what kind of things people would want exposed if we added a COM API or a more complete scripting language. No promises, but if you're doing something that would benefit from from something like that I'd like to hear it.Leave a comment:

BC3 reused instance
I need a command for a batch file to show a text compare of two files, but not open a new tab. E.g. launch BC3 or reuse that tab if already launched.
Any ideas?
(Ideal would be launch/refresh a named instance.)
