Indent style (Tabs or Spaces)

Hi

In some cases when I'm merging code I need to indent the code.
I didn't find a way to configure the indent style: Usually, editors let the user to choose if the indent uses a Tab (\t) or Spaces instead tab and to specify the number of spaces.
I think it is very important feature.
