For example, three files: B and C are the duplicates of A.
Run BC3. Leave the main window open.
Then select A and B in Windows Explorer. Compare them from the shell menu. -- The Quick Compare dialog indicates "Binary same".
Close the Quick Compare dialog.
Now select B and C (or A and C). Compare them from the shell menu. -- The Quick Compare dialog indicates "Binary differences"!
This phenomenon can also be reproduced without the main window open, but with the pre-existing Quick Compare dialog open instead.
