Hello,
vBulletin's search is not always the greatest if you only search for a very short word. Try to narrow your search with the Advanced controls.
Also, the captcha should not be required if you are logged in once your account has been approved. It can sometimes take a day for this to happen after your first post.

Hello,
We use vBulletin forum software, and the search is powered by that software. Searching the FAQ link (in the top toolbar), I found this article:
http://www.scootersoftware.com/vbull...faq_vb3_search
Does that help give some of the answers you were looking for?

My complaint is I don't see any search help. Is it there and I just missed it? The main thing I'd like to know is syntax for searching on ALL or ANY key words or exact phrase. (Search engines don't alway use the same syntax.) It would be nice to have a drop down list that includes ANY ALL or EXACT options.Last edited by mrg; 04-Sep-2009, 11:58 AM.

forum search doesn't work
I was trying to search on a few terms, among them "mac", and always got no results. However "mac" shows up in the tag cloud, and there is a whole long forum thread on BC for Mac. Seems like the search function isn't working right.
