  • Synchronize permissions attributes?

Is it possible to have bc3 synchronize unix permissions attributes? Looks like I can do this manually. For example, if I copy a shell script from Machine A to Machine B, I'd like to have the option to have bc set the exectute permissions on Machine B to match those of Machine A.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Copying a file from one side to the other should already copy the Unix permissions, but doesn't currently copy the owner/group. Are you instead asking for a "Copy Permissions to Other Side" command, similar to the way "Touch" works?

I think it would be great if the owner/group could be copied as well. But a separate option to copy permissions would be nice too!
