I've upgraded from BC 3.1 to 3.2.3 Standard (portable). I would like to try the features of the Professional version. Sorry if I missed something during the installation process, but I'm not sure how to turn on those features for a trial period. Thanks.

Please read again Aarons initial reply (espacially the link to the knowledge base article) in "our" other thread (I think you know where).

    Greetings Lutz

      You've got to be kidding.

I did search the site for instructions. I don't recall seeing the instructions you are referring to, but I may have overlooked something. At this point, in any case, I have no idea what "your" other thread might be.

It's really a simple question. Or at least I hope it is.

      I'll try asking by email.

I'm referring to this thread we discussed yesterday!

        In short the answer is:
Explore BC3 installation path of your portable install and rename "BC3Key.txt".
Start BC, select Help/About and check "Evaluate Pro Edition features".
        Restart BC.
        After evaluating rename back "BC3Key.txt".

        Greetings Lutz

          Hello,

BC3 comes in two flavors: Standard Edition and Pro Edition. Pro Edition includes some additional features that are removed from Std edition to keep the Std edition price down.

Our trial can toggle between the two modes for trial purposes, but once registered you will either be in Std mode or Pro mode.

You can remove your registration to revert to trial mode, to test Pro features if you are registered for Std:

Alignment Overrides is one of our Pro features. Here's a list of the other main Pro features for you to try out during the trial:
