One possible workaround would be to re-generate the master file multiple times, and then use Alignment Overrides to align it to each of the other files on the Many side. Or, the re-generation technique could rename the master file to have different names, so they align automatically to the Many files in the single location.
For example:
A <> M
A <> N
A <> o
using alignment overrides.
or
M (A renamed) <> M
N (A renamed) <> N
O (A renamed) <> O

Compare Master Against Many Automatically
Is there any work on comparing one master text or data file against many files automatically? I know you can do this from the command prompt via scripts but it would be nice if we could specify the master file on the left and then specify all of the other files on the right then let the program compare the master against each file on the right and create a report at the end. This would definetly give you an edge over all the others.Tags: None
