Copy permissions

I am moving data from a 2003 server to a 2008 server, although it doesn't work from 2003-2003.

Under handling i have selected "Copy NTFS file permissions" (and i do have domain admin rights)

but the permissions haven't copied over.

Any ideas?

I am using Beyond Compare version 3.1.11 (build12204)

although there is nothing concrete in the changelog concerning a fixed bug, have you tried the most currrent version 3.3.2 of Beyond Compare?
