  • How to keep BC's "Start Directory" fixed

I use relative paths in the command lines of some of the "Open With" applications, which work fine as long as BC runs from its own directory. But if I run BC from the shell extension, BC's "Start Directory" changed. This affects the relative paths of the "Open With" applications.

So is there a way to keep BC's "Start Directory" fixed?

    Hello,

I don't believe so. You can configure a Windows shortcut to "Start in" a specific location, but I would not know how to configure the windows shell extension to handle that behavior. If the shell extension is used, then BC3 must be installed to a permanent, regular location, so why not use fully defined paths instead of relative paths?
