I currently have beyond compare 3.2.4 on Ubuntu 11.04 (64bit).
I'm getting an Assertion failure(C:/work/BCompare/C:/work/BCompare/Ss/SsCodePage.pas, line 638).
So I see that there may be a fix for this in the latest release...
When I try to upgrade and install BC 3.3.3 build 14128 I get a error:
There was a failure during auto-update. Please install manually from
/home/eric/Desktop/BC3Update.deb
dpkg: error processing /tmp/BC3Update.deb (--install)
bcompare: 3.3.3-14128 (Multi-Arch: no) is not co-installable with bcompare:i386 3.2.4-13298 (Multi-Arch: no) which is currently
installed
Errors were encountered while processing
/tmp/BC3Update.deb
How can I get the current version uninstalled so that I can install the new version???
