Request a quick way to empty the view

Clear Session command will replace the current view with an empty session, with default settings.

Is there a command that can keep the current session settings and only empty the view?

No, but if you delete the two folder paths, then hit Enter, that would clear the comparison but keep the session settings. You could then perform a Save As to save a new/blank Folder session with these specific settings.

I hope there is a command (so I can use a shortcut) to go to the address bar.

Hello,

We do not have a direct keyboard shortcut. You can use Tab to tab up to there; in a Text Compare you need to disable Full Edit mode (F2) to tab up instead of inserting a tab.
