System cannot find the path specified

When I try to sync 2 folders containing large number of files and data volume is approx 1 TB, several files are not copied with error "System cannot find the path specified"
I then copy these files few at a time
Any ideas?

Hello,

This usually crops up if there's a network hiccup. After the transfer, these should be the only remaining different files, since transferred files would be equal. If you set to Show Differences, can you quickly find and retry transferring these files? Do they work if re-attempted?

Thanks. The 2 folders are on 2 different USB drives connected to the same system, I changed the usb port for one of the drives and now no errors. USB technology is pathetic despite being convenient.

I, too, have encountered the 'swap the port, not even the cable' to fix similar things. You aren't alone.
