sporadic timeouts during compare

I don't know what has changed, but for the last few weeks I have been getting sporadic timeouts on ftp file/dir comparison. It will timeout then do a resume, then timeout again and then go, do a few more files then do it again. There is no rhyme or reason to it. they are all html type files. My FTP connection is Active not Passive.

Do you have timeout problems with other FTP clients, or only with Beyond Compare?

I forgot to turn on email replies to this. I think I got it work superbly now. super fast. changed settings in the server mostly.
