How to avoid *.bak creation?

Hello,

BC3 will create back ups of the files it acts upon if it is configured in the Tools menu -> Options, Backups section.

For our own settings.xml files, we do back them up periodically. Why would you want to suppress this? This helps BC3 recover if the XML files are ever corrupted for one reason or another. It is, at most, around 6 small, additional XML files.

As I found out BC creats always *.bak backup file from certain *.xml config files.

How can I suppress the creation of *.bak files?
